Day 1 – Arrival in Sri Lanka
Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo.
Your guide will welcome you at the airport and assist with your transfer to the coastal town of Negombo.
Negombo is known for its fishing traditions and relaxed seaside atmosphere. The town is a perfect place to begin the journey and recover after a long flight.
Travelers can enjoy a walk along the beach or explore the lively fish market where fishermen return with their daily catch.

Day 2 – Negombo to Anuradhapura
After breakfast the journey continues north toward the ancient city of Anuradhapura.
Anuradhapura was the first great capital of Sri Lanka and remains one of the most important historical sites in the country.
Visitors can explore impressive ruins including ancient monasteries, sacred stupas and massive reservoirs built by early Sri Lankan civilizations.
One of the most sacred sites in the city is the Sri Maha Bodhi Tree, believed to have grown from a branch of the tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment.

Day 3 – Anuradhapura to Sigiriya

Day 4 – Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa, the fortress rises nearly 200 meters above the surrounding jungle.
The climb to the summit passes beautiful gardens, ancient frescoes and the famous Mirror Wall.

Day 5 – Polonnaruwa and Dambulla
